Friends, Inc. is powered by three dedicated part-time staff members working alongside a network of 90 compassionate volunteers, including our Board of Directors.
Together, we deliver essential practical, emotional, and spiritual support to patients experiencing isolation and hardship due to serious illness or disability.

While our small, dedicated staff and Board provide the foundation for our work, the heart and soul of our organization are our 90 compassionate volunteers. These individuals work on the front lines, handling most of our patient-facing activities and ensuring no one faces their challenges alone.
Each act of kindness from our volunteers demonstrates genuine care in action. They build meaningful connections with everyone they serve, offering friendship, support, and a listening ear. Their selfless commitment and personal touch drive our mission forward and enable us to provide high-quality, no-cost care to those in Madison County.
